Jesus went to the temple, and when he had looked around at everything, he went to Bethany

Jesus, the tourist.

Jesus who goes and has a good look round.

Jesus who comes to visit the city.

What did he see?

What did he plan to see?

Did he buy any souvenirs?

And

How often am I a tourist in my faith?

I look around, I visit, I dip into - but do I stay, get involved, put down roots?

Do I come to my faith - to worship, to prayer, to serving others - looking for an experience, a thrill even; a tourist...

What would it take to "move in"?
